A wonderful fall day to you! The sun has come out today, distinguishing the day from all the dreary fall days we have had.

I am having a "day at home" today which is always good! I had planned to go to the nursing home to visit various women. But I am fighting a cold and decided that no one else wanting to join the fight with me, so here I am.

I have been washing toys in preparation for putting them in the new wardrobe type cabinet that Bob and I will go to Pittsburgh to buy at IKEA next Wed. I want to have them all put away for the Thanksgiving gathering here!

The basement room is semi finished. I say it that way since the carpeting turned out to have stripes in it from laying in a roll in the warehouse. The laying job also leaves much to be desired. Today the carpet layer is meeting with the manager of the store to decided what can be done about it.

Bob is in Portland as of last night around midnight. He will be home on Wed. nite. He has been doing a lot of traveling lately. The holidays should find him in Avon Lake a bit more I hope.

I am doing a talk for MOPS in Dec. & Jan on relationships. I want to work on it this afternoon. This time of year, I don't want to add last min. stress.

Who knows what will become of this blog. I set it up so that I could comment on Sarah's blog.
